End-to-End Project Management

Gigliotti Build is the constructive and critical engineering force of the Gigliotti Group. Our service scope was designed to make cutting-edge Data Center projects viable, taking full responsibility from real estate conception to the final commissioning of the servers.

Our technical feasibility and implementation process is based on four non-negotiable structural pillars:

01

1. Real Estate Intelligence and Site Selection

The success of a Data Center begins with the surgical choice of its foundation. We carry out the technical feasibility study, strategic selection, and incorporation of the physical area where the data center will be deployed. This pillar encompasses:

  • Geographic and Climatic Risk Analysis: Rigorous evaluation of the land against risks of flooding, earthquakes, flight paths, and proximity to hazardous industries.

  • Topography and Soil Testing: Geotechnical engineering to ensure the soil supports the extreme weight density per square meter required by high-performance IT infrastructure.

  • Incorporation and Legalization: End-to-end management of the legal and regulatory process (zoning, environmental licenses, and building permits), mitigating liabilities before 'day zero'.

  • Physical Security Perimeter: Design of asset security layers (setbacks, anti-vehicular barriers, access control, and CCTV) in compliance with global critical infrastructure standards.

02

2. Energy Feasibility and Sustainability (Power & Cooling)

Energy is the blood of any Data Center. Our consulting focuses on integrating multiple local electrical energy sources with a strong focus on renewable sources, promoting infrastructure decarbonization. The scope includes:

  • Utility Capacity Analysis: Feasibility study with local utility companies for high-voltage supply (transmission lines and dedicated substations).

  • Redundancy Topologies: Electrical sizing for high availability standards, ensuring infrastructures with Tier III and Tier IV redundancy and resilience standards.

  • Sustainable and Renewable Matrices: Mapping and integration of clean sources available in the region (solar farms, wind plants, or SHPs) to offset the carbon footprint.

  • Backup Generation: Sizing of generator sets (diesel or natural gas) and highly efficient UPS systems to ensure absolute uptime (SLA from 99.982% to 99.995%).

03

3. Telecommunications and Data Feasibility (Connectivity & Links)

For processing to have value, data must flow without latency and with fail-safe contingency routes. We evaluate the land's telecommunications infrastructure through:

  • Fiber Optic Approach Study: Mapping the routes of the main regional carriers, ensuring the entry of redundant links to avoid single points of failure.

  • Satellite Telecommunications: Where fiber lacks the necessary redundancy, we implement feasibility studies for data links via low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite constellations.

  • Meet-Me Room (MMR): Conceptual design of telecommunications rooms for carrier interconnection, ensuring the Data Center is carrier-neutral with the lowest possible latency.

4. Civil Engineering, Modularity and IT (Core DC & IT)

The apex of our work is the building and populating of the Data Center, uniting civil construction and heavy IT. In this pillar, we develop the executive project and contract manufacturing modules.

  • Unprecedented Warranty: We are pioneers in the country by offering a 10-year warranty on our structures through this partnership, an overwhelming commercial differentiator.

  • Supervision and Continuous Delivery: Rigorous auditing of all construction stages to ensure delivery reflects what was budgeted and planned, managing the physical-financial schedule from foundation to commissioning.

  • Computational Composition and Hardware: Sizing of internal architecture (Racks, Servers, Storage, and Switches). This robust base provides the necessary hardware support for other group fronts to process high-demand tasks.

  • Strategic Partnership: Gemelo

Strategic Partnership

Gemelo:
A Journey of Innovation and Leadership

Gemelo was born 24 years ago as a multinational of the Compaq group. In 2005, we became 100% Brazilian, and from then on, we began our journey to achieve leadership in the outdoor modular data center market in 2017.

We are a company entirely focused on Data Centers. We pride ourselves on dedicating our efforts exclusively to the implementation, retrofit, and maintenance of data centers.

Anos de Garantia

We are the only company in Brazil that offers a 10-year warranty on our data centers. We do this because we strongly believe in the quality of what we build and maintain.
